Pricing for amenities
Pricing for amenities like hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash is often overlooked by hosts. It’s important to analyze all expenses with your supplies, and be sure you’re providing the right amenities for your target guest. If you have a low price listing, get low price amenities; if you have a luxe listing, be sure you’re providing luxe amenities.
Public Goods — $0.20/ounce
My all-time favorite amenity brand has always been Public Goods — it looks fabulous on the counter and it’s hard to beat the price at only $0.20 / ounce for refills. It’s the industry standard.
HostGPO — $0.11/ounce
However I just previewed what’s going to be my new favorite — the new Signature Amenity line from HostGPO.
They just came out with a LeLabo DUPE for literally half the price of Public Goods, dropping in at an insane $0.11 / ounce.
They even have these little amenity kit boxes for $3.20 / each - or -: $0.60 / ounce.
